Our Marina offers 525 wet slips with up to 100' capacity, are in a sheltered deep-water-harbor. The dock master's office is open 7days a week from 7am-5pm. He can be reached by hailing VHF channel or call 941-637-0083. Dock amenities include electric, water, garbage removal and free pump facility. Our interior dry storage holds 112 boats. There are no bridges to the Gulf of Mexico from Burnt Store Marina. Laundry facilities are available. Fuel is also available. Ask about our yacht care services.
If you don't have your own boat don't worry, there are plenty of opportunities for you to enjoy boating from the Marina Inn, why not step aboard a cruise boat for an afternoon of sightseeing, a sunset cruise or fishing. Another option is for you to charter a sailboat so you can get a taste of the sailing life. The SW coast of Florida is enriched with a variety of Islands from small to large, barren to inhibited. We are centrally located among some of the most well known islands you will find on Charlotte Harbor, giving the west side of the islands sandy beaches on the Gulf of Mexico and excellent fishing and boating activities on the harbor or intercoastal side. The beauty of Florida's Barrier Islands are all close at hand to you when you stay at the Marina Inn Hotel at Burnt Store Marina, one of the only hotels located on Charlotte Harbor.

Portobello’s, one of the finest restaurants in Southwest Florida, is located just a few feet from your suite. You can spend a whole evening enjoying entertainment and a delicious seafood dinner, with spectacular views whether you dine inside or out on the deck. The cocktail lounge is the focal point of entertainment.
Florida is famous for various forms of entertainment, some of the most prominent are dog racing, baseball spring training, gambling boats and casinos and boat shows.. These events can be found anywhere in the area from Sarasota to Naples. There is also the theater close at hand in Fort Myers. Museums are also plentiful with the Edison-Ford Estates located in Fort Myers. The Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus Museum is located in Tampa. The Boca Grande Lighthouse Museum is a cross the Charlotte Harbor from Punta Gorda.
Recreation and Sport
A shopper's paradise can be found at the malls that will be close by when you stay at the Marina Inn. Located just 12 miles north of Punta Gorda is Fisherman's Village, visit their unique Florida oriented shops and have a meal in one of the 7 restaurants. Head south for factory outlets, such as Miromar and Sanibel Outlet. The Edison mall in Fort Myers is a traditional department store complex focusing on clothing , shoes, and jewelry, while the Bell Towers caters to the upscale shopper. There is a flea market in Port Charlotte and another on in Fort Myers for the antiques buffs. Tourists looking for Florida artifacts would find Tin City in Naples a shopping paradise.
The Marina Inn has plenty to offer for the sport enthusiasts, the hotel provides a large heated swimming pool. After a few laps you'll be ready to sunbathe on one of our many lounge chairs. Roller blades can also be seen on the walking trails and many of the pave areas in the community. The athletic club is within walking distance of the hotel and has state of the art exercise equipment as well as outdoor tennis courts.
If you are a water sports enthusiast, the warm weather in Southwest Florida can't be beat for year round water activities. In the Gulf of Mexico and Charlotte Harbor the average yearly water temperatures is 80 degrees. Perhaps you could have a little bit of both worlds by taking a ride on a swamp buggy where the alligators lay among the mangroves and the eagles make their nests in the pines. The hotel is located just 12 miles south of Punta Gorda, home of the Babcock Wilderness Adventures, Florida's #1 swamp buggy eco-tour and off road bike tours. Taking a stroll down one of the many Gulf of Mexico beaches or shorelines around Charlotte Harbor can be a rewarding experience for those looking for that perfect shell to drift in form the surf your eye may catch a glimpse of a dolphin jumping through the surf or a nurse shark skimming the bottom of the shoreline. If your walking on Cayo Costa Island which you can take by cruise from right out front of the hotel, known for its bird sanctuary and national state wildlife preserve that is one of the Gulf of Mexico barrier islands south of Boca Grande, keep your eye on the interior of the island where wild pigs run through the pines. Bird watchers can spot Cranes, Egrets, Eagles, Spoonbills, Pelicans, Heron and Comerates. Just taking a three minute walk from your hotel room to the waterfront can be an adventure. Looking out over the water you can see manatees surfacing for air, fish jumping and schooling, dolphins swimming, eagle and egrets perching and occasionally an alligator looking for a fresh water pond.
Theme parks are plentiful in Florida where the warm sunny weather allows the parks to be open all year long. We are only three hours away from Disney World, Sea World, and Epcot all located in Orlando. Also there is Busch Gardens in Tampa. If you like to visit these parks but would like to enjoy the natural beauty and serenity that Florida can offer, take a trip to Charlotte Harbor in South west Florida and make the best of both worlds. We are located less than an hour from SW Florida International Airport in Fort Myers and only three hours from Miami International Airport. While staying at the Marina Inn you could also discover some of the parks just a few mile from the hotel that are great fun. Sun Splash family water park in Cape Coral offers river tube rides, drop slides, tunnels and more. The Caribbean Zoo in Naples puts their creatures on displays and shows their talents at a variety of daily shows.
